My Grandfather Clark Gudmundson had a fiberglass boat making company in the 50's and 60's called astroflite The boat was designed specifically for the trailer. The trailer was designed to float. The boat could be driven with the trailer attached and the trailer anchored in the middle of the lake as a floating dock. I have the 1964 version that i'm refurbishing and my uncle has the only inboard/outboard version ever built. |
